| Job Description: | Overview - Corporate Services plays a crucial role within the support systems of the Municipality. It serves as a pivotal point upon which other departments within the Municipality depend on it in order to fulfil their respective activities and responsibilities. The strategic positioning of the corporate services department plays a crucial role in facilitating the Municipality's attainment of its purpose. The Department is responsible for overseeing the governance issues of the municipality. The primary aim of this purpose is to guarantee that the administrative affairs of both the council and administration maintain a level of excellence. Director of Corporate Services is responsible for overseeing and directing the strategic functioning of various support departments, including Human Resources, Administration, Customer Care Services and Information Technology to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of an organization. The Director also develops and implements strategies related to these functions, such as HR strategies and ICT plans. |
